- A new rendering of the 2025 Toyota Camry shows off a sleek sports sedan design that departs from the current model’s predictable styling.
- The front end of the new Camry takes inspiration from the Toyota Camry TRD and features a pointed nose with a V-shaped grille finish and LED daytime running lights similar to the Supra.
- The rear of the 2025 Camry has been updated with sleeker headlights, a new bumper and air ducts inspired by the current generation Camry. The top power unit could potentially be a hybrid with a capacity of up to 340 hp.
This new rendering is a concept that envisions what the new 2025 Toyota Camry could look like, courtesy of HotCars artist Timothy Edry Emmanuel. The Camry is a best-selling, ever-present, reliable sedan that remains a predictable favorite despite the ongoing trend toward crossovers and SUVs.
It is this predictability that this new rendering model disrupts, resulting in sophistication sports sedan we see here. Toyota has proven that it can redefine safe, fuel-efficient cars when it comes to styling; The Crown and Prius are good examples of a fresh new design direction.
While renders of what could be the new 2025 Camry have been spotted, they’re all heavily camouflaged so we don’t have much to go on – this render tries to give an idea of how the facelifted Toyota Camry could see.
The new 2025 Toyota Camry for a new age
While the current 2024 Toyota Camry is safe, this new rendering brings some pretty big changes, especially to the front end. The Toyota Camry TRD’s aggressive front bumper with side air intakes appears to be the basis for the lower section, while the pointed nose is an extended version of the V-shaped grille found on all Camrys.
New LED daytime running lights sit above the main headlights, which look like the units on the Toyota Supra and, to a lesser extent, the Crown. The continuous front end that runs the width of the front is reminiscent of the Crown and other cars like the latest Prius.
There’s also more Crown inspiration as the door sills also feature similar black mouldings.
The curved side profile of the 2025 Toyota Camry makes it look like a sports sedan, with a higher hip line on the rear C-pillar. The two-tone color scheme with the black roof that works so well is also making a return. Unlike the TRD model, there is no rear wing, although the edge of the trunk ends in a shape that resembles a duck tail.
When will the 2025 Toyota Camry be released?
From the rear, you can’t go wrong with the 2025 Camry thanks to the now sleeker taillights and Camry badge on the trunk lid. The artist decided to update the bumper, lose the exhaust tips and create new air ducts inspired by the fake air ducts of this generation of Camry. The wheels are also copied from the current Camry.
The top powerplant in the 2024 Camry is the 301-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine available on the TRD sport sedan and other premium XLE/XSE V6 models. For the 2025 Camry, an available 2.4-liter Hybrid MAX hybrid powerplant with a turbo from Toyota Crown will offer up to 340 hp. and 400 lb.-ft., which can be used in the next TRD variant. Otherwise, it would have to settle for Toyota’s 2.5-liter hybrid system with 236 hp.
There is no official date for the presentation of the next Camry, but the V6 engine may be a thing of the past.
