Among the best gaming chairs, you’ll find models that not only prioritize comfort, but also provide excellent body support to keep you feeling fresh even during long gaming sessions. While we have witnessed various innovations in design, materials, and reclining mechanisms, the NxSys Aero Cougar gaming chair really stands out and deserves recognition.

Featuring a 200mm RGB fan integrated into the back of the chair, this is the first product in its category. The innovative elastomer mesh and ventilated back cover work together with the fan to promote optimal airflow throughout the seat, effectively cooling the user’s back. The company states that the perforated area between the mesh and the specially ventilated back cover functions as adaptive cushioning, creating the sensation of “floating on air.”

It also includes a lumbar pillow made to physiotherapy standards, as well as a magnetic headrest to ensure proper positioning and optimal support. Additionally, this chair features high-quality PVC leather and a contoured seat with high-density foam to provide ample support and cushioning in the spacious seating area.

This chair features built-in switches for easy control over fan speed and RGB lighting. Specifically, the fan draws power from a power bank hidden inside the seat, eliminating the need for messy cables.

It’s worth mentioning that this gaming chair isn’t the only option with an active cooling solution. For example, Air Comfort X Thermaltake incorporates four integrated cooling fans in the seat to provide cooling to the lower body. Although it sounds quite attractive, I prefer having an air cushion on my back, especially during the summer.

The Cougar NxSys Aero will hit the market in mid-October, with prices starting at $400. It will be offered in two color variants, Black Orange and Black, and will be available to purchase on Amazon and Newegg.
