Oscars 2024: Where to watch the major nominated films

The road to the 2024 Oscars is underway. Oppenheimer received 13 nominations, one behind the record of 14 nominations held by All About Eve, GiantAnd La La Land. Bad Things scored 11 nominations, followed by Moonflower Killer with 10, and Barbie with eight.

The 96th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, March 10. Oppenheimer (2023)

Christopher Nolan adapts the complicated and fascinating life of the “father of the atomic bomb” in Oppenheimer. The film depicts a young Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) rising from student to brilliant theoretical physicist in the 1920s and 1930s. In the 1940s, Oppenheimer was recruited to develop a nuclear bomb as part of the Manhattan Project. In the mid-1950s, he was the target of private security hearings aimed at discrediting Oppenheimer.
