Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree finally arrives this June

We finally see it in full for the first time Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree, an expansion for FromSoftware’s critically acclaimed 2022 open world game. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer, as publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed a release date of June 21.

That Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree The trailer is full of gameplay, showing new areas players can explore, lots of different boss and combat encounters, and some cool new weapons. Standouts include a boss that is a giant burning wicker man, a large hippo-like creature that can shoot sparks from its body, and a powerful-looking fire arrow weapon. The trailer also shows the player dying many times, that’s what it looks like Shadow Erdtree will feature more of the satisfying yet difficult gameplay that the original version offered.

It’s hard to discern too much story from this trailer, although the trailer description reads, “In the Land of Shadows, Miquella awaits the return of her promised God.”

At the end of the trailer, that is confirmed Shadow Erdtree launched on June 21. Its pre-order bonus is a bonus cue in the Ring of Miquella game. Elden Ring: Erdtree’s Shadow Editionwhich includes the base game and its expansions, as well as a Collector’s Edition featuring a hardcover art book and a statue of Messmer the Impaler will also launch that day.

Elden Ring now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Shadow Erdtree adding the experience across all the same platforms on June 21.
