Used Trucks for Sale: 10 Best Places to Buy in 2024 | Taza Khabre

Search used pickup involves a lot of research and can be both time-consuming and frustrating. When you’re making such a large investment, you should do your due diligence or you’re increasing your risk of getting burned. The first question that should logically be asked is where to start?

Like most things these days, the internet is often the first place we turn when looking for a new car. A quick Google search will reveal an almost unlimited number of websites and classified ads. It’s much harder to separate the wheat from the chaff, and for that reason we’ve developed a scoring system to rank some of the biggest and most popular used truck websites. While there are many new trucks are available for buyers on a budgeta used example will always result in a cheaper deal.

To rate the sites, we used the ratings provided Better Business Bureau (BBB) in addition to the “TrustScore” provided Trustpilot. BBB rates each site from A+ to F, while TrustScore is rated out of 5 and provides average customer scores. TrustScore is also affected by the number of reviews, the age of the site, and whether the site in question openly solicits TrustPilot reviews from customers.

We then combine these ratings using the system outlined in the table below to arrive at our own HotCars rating. The score from each category is then combined and divided by 2 to get our HC rating out of 5. These websites are then ranked, starting with those with the highest scores.
